Non occupandosi di cooperazione, Survival non conduce progetti sul campo, anche se garantisce sostegno ad alcuni progetti gestiti direttamente dagli indigeni. Inoltre, al di fuori del proprio staff, Survival non invia volontari presso le comunità indigene, né collabora o finanzia visite da parte di terzi.
Il team che compie le investigazioni e coordina le campagne di Survival opera presso la sede centrale di Survival a Londra. Il ruolo dell’ufficio italiano è invece principalmente quello di sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sulle gravi violazioni subite dai popoli indigeni attraverso la denuncia e la diffusione di materiale informativo, le attività didattiche, la raccolta fondi, la presenza sul territorio in occasione di eventi e manifestazioni e un intensissimo lavoro d’ufficio stampa.

Stage non retribuito presso Survival Italia
Gli stage che Survival gestisce presso la sede di Milano non sono remunerati e non prevedono alcuna forma di rimborso-spese. Ogni tirocinio ha la durata minima di tre mesi e i candidati dovranno autonomamente prendere accordi con la propria università per regolarizzare le posizioni assicurative obbligatorie.

Community Fundraising Officer (London - Hybrid, UK)
Are you a creative self-starter with lots of energy and ideas? Do you have experience working in community fundraising or outreach for a non-profit? We’re offering a rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled community fundraiser to play a key role within Survival’s Supporter Services department.
This is an exciting role where you will focus on planning and growing our fundraising events including the Run for Survival and all other aspects of community fundraising and outreach, ensuring we nurture our supporters’ engagement and build their loyalty.
As part of a small and very busy organisation, you will be handling a broad workload. This role is self-driven, organised and creative, requiring excellent organisational, planning and communication skills as well as a significant interest in donor and supporter engagement, a good sense of judgement, compassion and a strong interest in our cause.

Campaigner (Hybrid - Oakland or Washington DC, USA)
Survival International is recruiting a campaigner with Latin America experience for its US office to support and advance its advocacy campaigns.
As campaigner in the US you will work on Survival’s major international campaigns, primarily on campaigns to advance land rights for uncontacted tribes and other Indigenous peoples. This position will help expose and document the local and global drivers of Indigenous rights violations and land theft, and will help build public support in North America and beyond for Indigenous and tribal peoples, their communities and their movements for land defense and self-determination.

Supporter Services associate (Hybrid, Oakland)
Survival International USA is recruiting an Supporter Services associate for its Oakland office to support the development of Survival's presence and activities in the United States. This position will assist in many aspects of Survival International’s work through a wide range of tasks including liaising with supporters, database management, assisting with campaign outreach, event planning, and completing administrative tasks as needed.
This is an opportunity to play an active role in growing Survival International’s North American office and be at the heart of increasing exposure and support base in the region for our work.
Successful applicants will be extremely flexible, versatile, have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be able to work both collaboratively on their own.
