The world's best loved illustrator Quentin Blake was today named an ambassador for Survival International.

Quentin has been a supporter of Survival for many years, and has donated many illustrations, such as Survival's 40th anniversary Christmas Card in 2008.

‘I have been a supporter of Survival International for a very long time and have always been very impressed by their work for threatened tribal peoples around the world,' Quentin says. 'I am delighted to become an ambassador.’

Quentin joins actress Julie Christie, jeweller Pippa Small, and artist Kurt Jackson as a Survival ambassador.
